Delayed Registration of Report of Marriage

Please take note that the report of marriage at the Philippine Embassy has jurisdiction over the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, including Al Ain while the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai has jurisdiction over Dubai and all the northern Emirates.

  1. Personal appearance of both contracting parties
  2. Four (4) copies of typewritten Report of Marriage Form with original signature
    • Please use black ink pen only
    • Entries must be in CAPITAL LETTERS
    • Erroneously filled-out forms will NOT be accepted
  3. Original and Three (3) photocopies of the Marriage Contract (with English translation) attested by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  4. Four (4) pieces passport size photos of each of the contracting parties
  5. Birth Certificate of both parties
    • For Filipino Nationals – DFA Authenticated PSA BIRTH Certificate
    • For Foreign Nationals – Birth Certificate issued by the country of birth with official English translation and UAE MOFA attestation
  6. Affidavit of Delayed Registration (applicable if more than 1 year of Marriage).

  7. DFA Authenticated Negative Certification of Marriage Record from PSA (applicable if more than 1 year of Marriage) 1 original and 3 photocopies.
  8. Other necessary requirement/s to determine proof of citizenship, identity or eligibility for registration of marriage under Philippine Laws:
    • DFA Authenticated (CENOMAR).
    • For Annulled: DFA Authenticated PSA Marriage Contract with Annotation and Finality of Court (1 original and 3 photocopies);
    • For Widowed: DFA Authenticated PSA Death Certificate and PSA Marriage Certificate with Annotation of Widow) (1 original and 3 photocopies).

Please take note for Annulled and Widowed Woman your passport should be reverted to single name first in order for you to file for your Report of Marriage.

Documents required from the non-Filipino fiancé/fiancée:

  • Original Certificate of Civil Status issued at the applicant’s home country duly authenticated by the applicant’s respective Embassy or Consulate in the UAE and by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (if not in English, said document must be legally translated into English);

Cash Payment Only:

  • 100 AED for attestation
  • 100AED for Report of Marriage
  • 100 AED for Affidavit of Delayed Registration (applicable if more than 1 year of Marriage).

Releasing:

  • After three (3) working days, the Report of Marriage may be claimed.
  • Processing time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
  • Releasing time: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM (Monday-Thursday) | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Friday)
