MINOR RENEWAL of ePASSPORT (17 years old and below)

 

STEP 1.  Book appointment for ePassport renewal at https://auhpe.checkappointments.com/

STEP 2.    Prepare the following requirements:

  • Accomplished ePassport application form for minor
  • Current ePassport of minor applicant with photocopy of data page
  • Personal appearance of the child and either parent. If the child’s age is seven (7) years and below, only the mother can apply for the child’s passport;
  • Certificate of Marriage/Report of Marriage issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) duly authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in Manila is required if only the father files the application. (Original and photocopy)
  • Certificate of Live Birth/Report of Birth issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). (Original and photocopy)
  • Passport of either parent with one (1) photocopy of data page
  • Passport fee of AED 240. (Please bring exact amount)

 NOTE: The validity of DFA authenticated certificates are for five (5) years from the date of issuance

Important Reminders

All passport applicants need to book an appointment for ePassport renewal.

Passport applicants include the following:

  1. Residents from Abu Dhabi, Al Ain Region and Al Dhafrah Region
  2. Children 12 years old and below
  3. People with Determination (PWD)
  4. Pregnant women
  5. Senior citizens

For appointment of special needs children, please send an email to appoint.auhpe@gmail.com with subject “special needs child”.

 
The Philippine Passport is at all times the property of the Republic of the Philippines. It must be surrendered upon demand by an authorized representative of the Philippine Government.

Alteration, addition, or destruction of contents is strictly prohibited. Any unauthorized change will render a passport invalid and will have accompanying penalties.

Using the passport as collateral is against the law and will automatically render the passport cancelled.

The information provided in the passport application form must be true and correct. The documents that will be submitted should be complete and authentic. Under the law, making false statements in the passport application form, furnishing falsified or forged documents in support thereof are punishable by law.


 

MINOR NEW ePASSPORT (FOR INFANTS BORN IN THE UAE TO FILIPINO PARENT/S)

STEP 1.   For appointment, please send email to:  appoint.auhpe@gmail.com

         Prepare the following requirements:

  • Accomplished ePassport application form. Only the mother can apply for the infant’s passport
  • Report of Birth issued by the Embassy (see Report of Birth). (Original and photocopy)
  • Passport of the parent(s) with photocopy of passport data page
  • Passport fee of AED 240.

STEP 2.         Follow steps 3 to 8 of Passport Renewal.

*Only IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBER(e.g. father, mother, sister, brother, spouse, son or daughter) is authorized to claim passport if, for a valid reason, applicant cannot release his/her new passport.

Step 1:             Proceed to the Passport Releasing Section.

Step 2:             Put claim stub on the box/tray and wait for your name to be called.

Step 3:             Present official receipt and old passport for cancellation.

Step 4:            Check details of new passport (first name , middle name, last name, date/place of birth).

Step 5:             Sign on signature pad to acknowledge receipt of new passport. 

Step 6:             Authorized immediate family member should present the following: a) Authorization letter and b) ID  of authorized person(original and photocopy).

ADULT LOST ePASSPORT

STEP 1 :  For appointment, please send email to:  appoint.auhpe@gmail.com

        Prepare the following requirements:

  • Accomplished ePassport application form
  • Report of Loss from the UAE Immigration Office, duly stamped by the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, with English translation. Make sure that the passport number and the name of the passport owner are stated in the report. (Original and photocopy)
  • One (1) photocopy of the lost passport, if available
  • Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) issued Birth Certificate, duly authenticated by the DFA in Manila. (Original and photocopy)
  • For married woman who opted to use her spouse’s last name, Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) issued Marriage Certificate, duly authenticated by the DFA in Manila. (Original and photocopy)
  • Affidavit of Loss filed at the Embassy
  • Passport fee of AED 600.00 for lost ePassprt
  • Passport fee of AED 360.00 for lost MRRPs (green passports) and MRPs (maroon passports)

Note: There will be a 15-day clearing period prior to the processing of application for replacement of a lost valid passport.

Additional Requirements:

In case passport was already declared lost by the applicant but eventually was found and returned to him/her within the 15-day clearing period:

  • Submit Notarized Affidavit of Retrieval (with detailed explanation on when, where and how passport was found)
  • Original and photocopy of data page and last page of passport

STEP 2:   Follow Steps 3 to 8 of Passport Renewal

ADULT MUTILATED OR DAMAGED ePASSPORT

STEP 1:   Prepare the following requirements:

  • Accomplished ePassport application form
  • Affidavit of Destruction/Mutilation filed at the Embassy
  • Passport fee of AED 240.00

STEP 2:   Follow Steps 3 to 8 of Passport Renewal
