11 November 2016 — Philippine Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.) Constancio R. Vingno, Jr. is joined by Embassy officers and staff, and their families at the Grand Opening Ceremony of the Mini-Olympics 2016 at the Al Jazeera Sports Complex, Abu Dhabi on October 28. The Mini-Olympics 2016 is organized by the Bayanihan Council, the umbrella organization of all Filipino organizations accredited to the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
Ambassador Constancio R. Vingno, Jr. delivered his message at the Grand Opening Ceremony of the Mini Olympics 2016 and also led the ceremonial toss; Attaché Delza Lourdes Bayabao received her trophy as Top 2 Bowler – Women’s Division; Attaché Anna Lyn Vergara was awarded 1st runner-up in the Best Muse competition; and Bayanihan Council Chairman Engr. Jeffrey Uy passes on the ceremonial torch to Third Secretary and Vice Consul Rowena Pangilinan-Daquipil. END
