10 October 2016 - Philippine Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.) Constancio R. Vingno, Jr. attended the opening day of Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) 2016, at the Za’abeel Halls, Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates from October 04 to 06.
The 18th edition of WETEX, organized by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), is under the theme “At the Forefront of Sustainability”.
The event featured the first Dubai Solar Show and the World Green Economy Summit. WETEX served as a global platform for exhibitors to showcase the latest technologies, raise corporate profiles and promote products and services. It is also a platform to discuss best practices and share ideas with the world’s leading players in the water, energy, oil and gas, technology, and environment sectors.
Ambassador Vingno also attended the opening of the ERAM Group pavilion at WETEX 2016. Together with Dr. Siddeek Ahmed, Chairman and Managing Director of ERAM Group and Mr. SajishTampi, Regional Manager – GCC of ITL World Travel, the Ambassador led the ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by officials of the various services composing ERAM Group, other distinguished guests and the media.
