The Philippine Embassy in UAE joins in the celebration of the 2023 International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Day on 12 August 2023.

This year’s theme, “IHL: Gabay sa Makataong Pagsulong ng Kapayapaan” (IHL: Guide to Humanitarian Advancement of Peace), emphasizes the ongoing and vital role of IHL in fostering peace and safeguarding the rights and dignity of individuals affected by armed conflict.

The celebration also highlights the Philippines’ continuing commitment to Peace, Security, and Excellence, as embodied in Repubic Acts 9851, 10530, and 11188.
