30 December 2019 – The Embassy of the Philippines in Abu Dhabi hosted a year-ender event with leaders of Filipino community organizations in commemoration of the International Migrants Day held on 27 December 2019.

Addressing the attendees of around three hundred (300) Filipino community leaders, Amb. Hjayceelyn M. Quintana recognized the contributions of the Filipino community in promoting Philippine interests in the United Arab Emirates and in the international community, in general.

One of the highlights of the event are the preview of the Bangkota, the theme of Philippine Pavilion in the World Expo 2020, as well as a musical play entitled “Ang Pambansang Litanya ng mga Inang Wala sa Bayan” by +63Kolektib. END
