The Embassy strongly advises Filipinos to ensure that their passports are valid for at least six (6) months if they are to travel outside the UAE, except for trips to the Philippines.

Those who travel with passports that are valid for less than six (6) months are warned that they may be barred from entering the destination country, and may encounter difficulties in returning to the UAE or proceeding to another country.  Also, please be advised that some foreign governments no longer accept manually extended passport validity.  Lastly, there are countries where there is no Philippine Embassy or Consulate General and assistance on consular matters may not be readily available.

Please be advised that extension, if warranted, will only be made after renewal. Further, only one (1) extension is allowed.
